Buorton on the water

Wintry weather..... Rain or shine we went for a stroll in Buorton on the water, the Venice version in the Cotswold County. The River Windrush that runs through several low, arched stone bridges. This village is very picturesque, the houses and shops in the village are constructed of the famous yellow limestone characteristic of the Cotswold, its architecture is so beautiful.

After a long walk and picture taking along the river bank, the array of coffee shop across the road was inviting. The weather was cold so we stroll across and ended up in The Chestnut Tree Cafe. The usual English afternoon tea scones, yummy jam and cream was so delicious paired with Hot Chocolate with marshmallows and cream that was divine or shall I call sinfully divine. What the heck it's my indulgence for the week so why not, Me and Ching enjoyed every bite and sip.
